Read on to know how we made the pretty coveted Dalgona Coffee
The most important thing to bear in mind before getting down making this blend is the ratio of the three ingredients- coffee powder, sugar and water. If you get this ratio wrong, then this would definitely result into a great debacle.
So, what do you think the ratio of these ingredients should be? Without further ado, we would like to break it to you that these ingredients should be in equal proportions in the ratio of 1:1:1. You would have to add the same measurements of coffee, sugar and water to get the consistency of the blend correct.
We used these to make one single glass of Dalgona coffee,
- 2 tbsp of coffee powder
- 2 tbsp of sugar
- 2 tbsp of hot water
- Half a glass of cold or warm milk
How to make the Dalgona Coffee
- Take all three- coffee powder, sugar and warm water in a mixing bowl.
- You have to keep whisking this mixture either using a hand whisk or an electric hand mixer/blender. Doing this using an electric mixer might be simple but using a hand whisk to mix is a daunting task. Keep on stirring and mixing until the mixture turns into a velvety and creamy texture.
- In a serving glass, pour milk- either cold or warm, only to top it with the creamy and frothy mixture made by you. Tap lightly with a spoon to level the coffee mixture on top of the milk.
Your Dalgona Coffee is ready!!!
